Sector 21, Sleepovers, Grampies and Pizza

It seems like we've been pretty busy, lately, with homework, a party and sleepovers. Recently we got to spend some time at our friends' Jackie and Noah's house. We take classes with them. They are really nice and they have a wicked cool house, two funny dogs and some horses and a donkey. It's great, because they like to make movies, too, and we worked on a an episode of the soon to come SECTOR 21. It's about a group of people who hunt down the hidden aliens on earth. The sleepover was awesome, we made the first version of sector 21. We had pizza and then we played a roleplaying game and then we went to bed. In the morning their dad made us apple pancakes that were really good. Then later we re-filmed sector 21 which was really fun. It was really great having a sleepover. Unfortunately, we live kind of far from them, but we talk a lot on the phone, and now were on Skype, so that's been cool so we can talk to our friends. Oh, and they like D&D, also!

A couple of weekends ago,the Grampies came over to have pizza. Grampie, Daddy and Olivia and I took a walk down to the beach.

It was very pretty and cold. Then we walked back home and my mom was making pizza. We showed the Grampies one of our family's favorite videos Cake Or Death in Lego, as well as the Sector 21 video. Then we got to eat the awesome pizza my mom made, and salad. Olivia and I later showed them Cooking Mama and we made tons of different desserts.

Olivia and I are taking classes again and we're taking American Literature, Geometry, Immigration and Algebra. We did't have class this week because their was a really bad storm and our teacher, Tina lost power. Since we don't have much homework (other than finishing The Great Gatsby --not a fan) Olivia and I have almost finished editing Sector 21 so were going to publish that this week here is a little teaser video!

Yule

I think it's about time I tell you all about my Yule. First, I hope you all had a wonderful time this past holidays season. I know that I had a great time!
Guess what my parents gave me? A laptop!!! It's so awesome! Here's my sister and me freaking out! Ha ha ha!

no. way.

They also gave me a great game for my DS called Scribblenauts, it's really fun. And they also gave me a Doctor Who poster and calender, it's awesome! Olivia (my sister) gave me some movie making stuff, like props, and a small tripod. The legs on it bend so I can attach it to a tree branch or something and film. It's also light, so it's easier for me to carry around. Santa gave me most awesome Lego set ever! And I got lots of different colored duct tape in my stocking (for making homemade swords). Score!

Thanks!

After Yule morning at our house we drove up to my Nana and Papa's. Aunt Jane, Aunt Carol and Auntie Heather were also there. Auntie Heather gave me a cool Lego set, Nana and Papa another cool Lego set and Aunt Jane and Aunt Carol gave me a Borders gift card. Yay!

The next day was Boxing Day and like usual, mommy and daddy made tons of good food and we had lots of people over. But first my Grampies spent the morning with us. Grampie always surprises us with $$--awesome!--and a set of binoculars, which are going to come in really handy, and Timmy gave me this really awesome Star Wars Lego book.

Later when our friends showed up, we went and made movies, then I finished making it on my new laptop!! and we were able to show the movie to everyone at the party! Everyone laughed a lot, because it is kind of funny, but weird. We had lots of fun making it. Oliver and Owen had some really good ideas and were fun to work with, so I'm looking forward to getting together with them again soon to expand on our ideas.

So that was my Yule! I hope you had a great holiday, too!

Hi, welcome to my new blog!

I'm glad you stopped by! My parents and my big sister have blogs and I thought it would be fun to have one too. I'm an unschooler, which means I don't go to school and never have. Both my sister and I learn by doing things in the real world, reading a ton, helping around the house, playing, and doing just about anything interesting. I'll be writing about things that I find interesting, like Legos, Star Wars, video games, books, politics, movies, the beach, friends, my pets, music...and more! One of my favorite things to do is build with Legos and photograph them doing normal things. I'll save that for another post, though. I also like to build weird things with Legos. Like this.

Again, thanks for reading, it's always great to get comments, so thanks!

Until next time...Don't Panic!

Activist Legos

Yesterday we went to the gay marriage hearing and at the begining they were handing out equality sticker's to the one's that supported gay marriage (us). Today I cut up the sticker and took this picture as a tribute.
