Ocderper...Derp!

Dude! It's end of October already and where have I been, huh? Welp, not here obviously so I'm fixing that now. Can I just say, Halloween?! Almost here. Cool. I'm going as a secret agent dude and there's the homeschool party on Saturday night, too. Awesome. My friend Noah and I plan on trick or treating in our town. Sweet. Get it? Sweet?

Oh and because it's almost Samhain (Halloween), we've been watching scary movies. So far I've seen Alien and Aliens, Jaws (die shark, die!!!) Amityville Horror (not so scary) and this, which I really liked.

So, a month ago, we were at the fair. It was really awesome, especially because we met up with a bunch of other unschoolers we met at the unschooling conference in August and my sister and I hung out with them, mostly on Friday. My favorite things this year about the fair were (photos from my mom):

hanging out with friends and roaming the fair!old friends
chillin'
the gang

Pie Cones!

some tunes

hot cider on a cold day!hot cuppa cider

End of last month I attended this lab at GofMERI about lobsters. My friend Noah went, too, so that made it even more fun.

I've also been enjoying the biology labs on Thursdays and the Intro to the Holocaust on Thursday nights. I just finished Maus.

Oh yeah, and teen meet-ups, those are fun.

I've been in extra rehearsals, with my sister, Olivia, for the PSO in addition to choir. We'll be singing at the Magic Of Christmas in something like twelve performances, so it's busy around here.

My mom took this when Noah was over. Derp.

Speaking of derps.

And...OMGHARRYPOTTER(HP7)COMESOUTNOV19! See the trailer here. I just finished all the books up to the fifth one, which I just started. Not sure I'll get them all read by the time the movie is out. I mean, I've had them all read to me and I've listened to them all on cd a billion times, but I've enjoyed reading them to myself, too.

Here's my latest YouTube update.

Speaking of YouTube, they used this song in Scott Pilgrim and it's my current favorite.

When I went to Acadia recently with my family, Olivia and I did some filming, but I haven't finished editing that yet.

action packed adventure for all

Earlier this week, I went to the graveyard gathering with other unschoolers, which was a lot of fun, and took these.

Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.

We seem to be made to suffer. It's our lot in life. ~C-3PO

It's not that I'm exactly suffering, but it hasn't been happy-happy-joy-joy for me lately, either. Don't get me wrong, going to the Northeast Unschooling Conference with my family was awesome, and just what I needed, given the way this summer has been. What to tell you, Interwebs? Let's just say things got not so good there, with a now ex-friend. Yeah.

Uh, we had a slight weapons malfunction, but uh... everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you? ~Han Solo

So, moving on. Like I said, the unschooling conference was Epic. Read more about it here. One of the coolest things was just being able to hang out with a bunch of unschooling kids for four days. It was really fun playing this game called Werewolves with a big group of kids. I didn't get to bed until 3am, one time-that's how fun Werewolves is.

I feel like I made some friends at the unschooling conference. I know I met some really cool people.

It's not impossible. I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home, they're not much bigger than two meters. ~Luke

In other news, I did this to my hair.

o.m.g. cooooool.

I'm still getting used to it.

Seeing and Making Movies

Rainbow Gleam

A week ago I saw Eclipse with my family. It was really good and mostly like the book. It was good to be able to visualize what happened in the book, because sometimes it's hard to imagine whats happening. Two days later we saw The Last Airbender. Unfortunately, it was nothing like the tv show, which I love. The whole Fire Nation was messed up, most of the casting was wrong and they didn't even stick with the story! So it was disappointing. As I was saying...

Last night we saw Toy Story 3 which was super good and funny! Some people were saying that it was not good at all but other people are saying it might win a Oscar. So if you enjoyed the Toys Stories, you should definitely see this one.

I think I'm going to ask my parents to put the original Tron on the Netflix queue.

The cgi for TRON: Legacy looks pretty cool, so I'll probably see this when it comes out.

Lately I have been thinking of ideas for a sequel of a maybe three part series of movies called Clone War.

I have written the beginning of the plot for the second movie called Clones Revenge but I'm still working on it. I have a lot more movies here. I have been working a lot with FXhome, which is awesome!

If I'm not making movies, I'll be doing this. See you at the beach!

What I Want To Do

I want to:

Bear hug my sister

Unwrap the duck tape from my sword

Go work on the Movie that I'm making

Watch episode 11 of GLEE

Attack an evil dwarf on dragon wars

Play My Sims Wii

Yesterday I went to book club and we talked about The Adoration Of Jenna Fox by Mary E. Pearson. The main character is Jenna Fox. Her mother tells her that she had been in a coma and so Jenna doesn't remember what her life was. Jenna's parents give her some discs that have her life recorded from ages 1-to-17. But has science changed her, and is she really Jenna?
You would have to read it to find out. And the book has really intetresting questions-- it really makes you think.

Right now my sister and I are taking a 10 week set of classes which are Geometry, Writing, Algebra, and Geography. My favorite is Algebra.

Here are some pictures that I took recently at Portland and at home.

Young Author's Camp

I've been at The Telling Room this week for camp and it's been wicked fun! I've been writing new stories and meeting some really great people. One of the best things is walking around Portland for inspiration. Soon I'll post some of my writing. For now here are some of my photos.

New Playlist

As you can see or hear, I made a playlist, today. A lot of the songs are from video games and movies, especially action or sci-fi, which is my favorite, and some TV shows, like Buffy (my current fave), but it's all stuff I love. If you want to make a playlist, do it here! oh and Two days ago I went to Night At The Museum:Battle of the Smithsonian (which was really funny) and...Land Of The Lost which sucked sooooooo bad [WARNING INAPPROPRIATE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AND NOT FUNNY]...yaa.....

But on the good side, Night At The Museum was really good.

I took these photos during the recent full moon.
